January is a Malaysian Odissi dancer who intertwines tradition and personal growth in her art. Trained under the renowned Ramli Ibrahim at Sutra Dance Theatre, her career has spanned performances across Malaysia and India, including a groundbreaking Bharatanatyam Arangetram and an Odissi duet with her guru.

After stepping away from dance to focus on family, January made a powerful return, performing in Bloom—a sold-out production about womanhood—while pregnant. Now a mother of three, she continues to choreograph, perform, and inspire, championing the message that balancing family life and artistic passion is both possible and empowering.
